Introduction to Montessori Elementary

The elementary or the second plane child (6 to 12 years), as he is often referred to, is a very different human being when compared to the child of the first plane (0 to 6 child). A child of this age searches for answers, and is interest in all avenues of learning.

In this much awaited workshop Alison Awes, AMI 6-12 trainer and Director of Elementary Training, Montessori Center of Minnesota, will offer us valuable insights from her vast experience into the life of the children in these growing years, and help us to identify and support their needs.

Teenaz Reporter, AMI Primary Trainer, and Director of Training at Montessori Research and Training Trust, Hyderabad will help us to think outside the box, and help us to think of ways in which the Montessori approach can help us direct the child’s enormous capacity to learn and to explore what we can offer young children to become joyful learners.
