Montessori Institute of Bangalore

The Montessori Institute of Bangalore (MIB) was established to meet the growing demand for Montessori training in the city. Its mission is to revive AMI training locally and build a strong school community where the principles of child development and educational practices outlined by Maria Montessori are effectively implemented. The institute offers a range of courses, including the 0-3 age level (Orientation and Diploma), 3-6 age level (Orientation, Assistant, and Diploma), 6-12 age level (Orientation and Diploma), and an Administrator Course.

Vivek High Montessori Institute

Vivek High's connection to Montessori education began over 55 years ago when founder Shiela Gyani Mamik completed her Montessori training in 1967. Rooted in Montessori principles, the school has been dedicated to the holistic development of children. In 2024, Meenu Sahi established the Vivek High Montessori Institute (VHMI), North India’s first AMI-affiliated training center, making Montessori training more accessible in the region. VHMI offers two diploma courses: AMI Primary (3-6 years), with Neelima Mhaskar (Director) and Dipa Sreekumar (Co-trainer) and AMI Elementary (6-12 years), with Ann Dunne (Mentor), Prabha Narayanan (Director), and Kamini Kapur (Co-director).

Supraja Montessori Study Centre

Supraja Montessori Study Centre (formerly Navadisha Montessori Foundation) offers top-tier Montessori teacher training that bridges theory with practice. We foster strong alumni connections and collaborate with schools to support community growth, while organizing workshops and events to help parents and childcare professionals deepen their understanding of Montessori philosophy. The name *Supraja*, meaning "good child" or "good citizen," reflects Montessori's vision of nurturing each child’s potential to become a responsible global citizen. Courses offered include the 3-6 and 6-12 Diploma Courses, Orientation to 3-6 and 6-12 Certificate Courses, along with various workshops and talks led by expert trainers.

and Research Trust

The AMI Primary Diploma Course in Hyderabad is offered by The Montessori Training and Research Trust (MTRT) in Jeedimetla, established in 1984 to promote Montessori philosophy and child development through the Montessori method. MTRT's mission is to make training accessible to all and to expand the reach of the Montessori method to more children in India and globally. The institute offers a range of courses, including the Primary and Elementary Diploma Courses (in collaboration with Medha Montessori Institute), as well as Orientation, Adjunct, Refresher Courses, and various workshops and talks.

Montessori Teacher Training Centre (JFA MTTC)

JFA Montessori Teacher Training Centre (JFA MTTC), based in Kolkata, operates under the auspices of Shree Shwetambar Sthanakvasi Jain Sabha (SSSJS), a philanthropic organization established in 1928. For nearly 97 years, SSSJS has been dedicated to societal upliftment through its core pillars of Seva (Service), Shiksha (Education), and Sadhana (Spiritual Practice). Montessori's child-centered approach to holistic development mirrors the Sabha's dedication to quality education. Through this alignment, JFA Montessori Teacher Training Centre (JFA MTTC) represents the Sabha's legacy, nurturing individuals equipped to serve, learn, and grow both personally and spiritually. JFA Montessori Teacher Training Centre (JFA MTTC) is recognized as an AMI Affiliated Host Centre and is currently awaiting full Training Centre status. Our mission is to advance Montessori education across Eastern India. The centre offers Elementary Diploma Course (6-12 years). In addition to that, we also offer Workshops and seminars for parents and educators to deepen their understanding of Montessori philosophy. Collaborations with local schools to provide internship opportunities for trainees.

RTI Montessori Training

Founded in 1928 by Lady Navajbai Tata and the Stri Zarthostri Mandal, the Sir Ratan Tata Institute (RTI) focuses on empowering women and providing employment opportunities.
