**Responsibilities** **Job Summary:** Provide CPR instruction to community members on behalf of Community Health Education Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. **Job Responsibilities:** + Instructs community members on American Heart Association CPR classes as assigned + Facilitate CPR/Keeping Kids Safe or safety class according to class outline, assuring all information is covered completely. + Answer participants questions and concerns with accurate and current information to the best of your knowledge. If research is needed, consult with Community Education Coordinator or American Heart Association within 24-48 hours. + Participate in committee or collaborative team to improve CPR classes/services as requested + Promotes professional development + Assumes responsibility for professional development and continuing education + Demonstrates the ability to effectively work with various end users to effectively provide the needed information and training **Qualifications** **Minimum:** Minimum 6 months teaching CPR and/or community education classes required. Two years experience teaching a variety of CPR classes in the community preferred. Completion of American Heart Association Instructor class and Core Instructor course required. Knowledge of Automated External Debrifillator (AED) operation required Current American Heart Association instructor certification in Heartsaver and Basic Life Support required. **Overview** **Hello Humankindness ( Chandler, Arizona , has a stable suburban population with an economy anchored by many large financial, and high tech companies.
